Our maple sugaring house.
Spring has sprung, well almost. With the snow melting from the warmer weather and a little bit of rain, we enter into mud season. At Sterling Ridge, we aren’t getting stuck in the mud! We are busy at work sugaring, remodeling and getting ready for the better weather ahead.
If you haven’t heard, it’s sugaring time! All over Vermont sugar houses are working over time boiling sap to make into yummy, sweet maple syrup.
Did you know: It takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup?
