I would like to take over the blog this month to report to our fellow “Ridge Lovers,” that spring is in the air! It is now officially time for spring at The Ridge. Red Wing Blackbirds have been sited and Geese flying home for the summer have been heard. Another sure sign – steam billowing out of the chimney’s of sugarhouses (March 24&25 is VT Open Maple House weekend.) The most noticeable – besides losing an hour of sleep – are the days getting longer and people venturing out of their homes in a cabin fever state seeing the glorious sunshine! It is nice to be able to take long walks on the trails and enjoy the signs of the coming season.
