What better way to enjoy the art of Yoga than floating on a paddleboard on a beautiful, calm, serene private pond in the mountains of Vermont! Practice traditional poses on the water along with free time to Stand Up Paddleboard.  Never tried either? No problem – this is geared toward all levels from beginners to advanced as you challenge yourself. It’s easier than you think. Wednesday 9:30 am – 11:00 am ,   $40 per person

NEW! Kayaks and Cocktails

Similar, but different from our popular Water & Wine tour, you will paddle down a different stretch of the Lamoille River in kayaks or canoes ending at our outpost. Your guide will then take you to the Smugglers’ Notch Distillery here in Jeffersonville where you will be treated to a private tour and tasting of their quality spirits – vodka, gin, rum, rye and bourbon!! Feel free to purchase a bottle or gifts to take home. Monday 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm , $55 per person

NEW! Morning River Kayak

An excellent start to your day. Your guide will take you down a scenic 4.5 mile stretch of the Lamoille River at a leisurely pace. You will have your choice of single or tandem (2 person) kayaks.  This is a great opportunity for beginning paddlers with little or no experience to enjoy the river. We have boats for ages 8 and up.  Thursday 9:00 am – 11:00 ,$45 per person

Experience a Vermont morning paddle on a beautiful, calm, secluded private pond with all of our boats! You’ll be able to try out our new stand up paddleboards, single and tandem kayaks and canoes with guided instructions on serene, controlled waters. A short paddle that leaves the afternoon free for other activities. Meets Tuesday 9:30 am – 11:30 and Saturday 10:30am – 12:30, behind the Cupboard Deli. $40 per person

Travel by canoe on the Lamoille River and take in pastoral landscape that continues to shape local history. Finish the tour at the award winning Boyden Valley Winery just west of Cambridge. The tour includes wine tasting with local Vermont cheeses and french bread in the winery’s restored carriage barn. Meets Wed ,Thurs & Friday at Noon – 3 pm, Sat & Sun at   1 pm – 4 pm, behind the Cupboard Deli. $55 per person.


Enjoy an opportunity to see some of the wildlife that come to the river in the evening.  Typical river habitat animals are great blue herons, duck families, turtles, beavers, river otters and muskrats.  It is a quiet, calm paddle in canoes at the end of your busy day.   Tuesdays 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm, $80 per canoe

ICE CREAM FLOAT – What could be a more relaxing and enjoyable combination than a Vermont family vacation paddle on a peaceful river while eating ice cream.  Paddle for a half hour, stop and eat ice cream on a beach and then finish with another half hour paddle (all down river). Meets Tuesdays at 1:00 pm – 3:00 and Wednesday 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm,  behind the Cupboard Deli. $85 per boat

Green Mountain Canoe and Kayak Tours

Rental & Shuttle Only

A self-guided paddle with canoes, solo kayaks or tandem kayaks. Enjoy a leisurely float trip on the Lamoille river stopping for a picnic, fishing or swimming. You can park your car at our river access behind Cupboard Deli and we will shuttle you up river in our van either six or nine miles. You just paddle back to your car at your leisure. Trip duration is typically 2.5 hours or 4 hours. Runs between 8:00am and 3:00pm daily, meets behind the Cupboard Deli. (Reservations suggested but not required.) All rates are for the day and include PFDs and transportation upriver.
