That depends on where you start. From anywhere in New England, no more than a 6 hr. drive. Consider the following:

Jeffersonville is easily reached by car. Train and bus services are available into Waterbury and Saint Albans. Jet air service into Burlington International airport is only 45 minutes away. Rental cars and taxis are available in Burlington, Waterbury and Stowe.
- From Stowe
- Option 1. SUMMER – In the village of Stowe, take VT RT 108N through Smugglers Notch Pass, once over the mountain Smugglers Notch Resort will be on your right. Continue to the SECOND Edwards Rd (you will see a tourist sign) and Cliff Reynolds will be a slight left onto a dirt road, continue for 2 miles until you reach an intersection (“Y”) and bear right onto Junction Hill Rd. We are 300 yards on the right hand side.
- Option 2. WINTER – Follow RT 100N through Stowe to Morrisville. In Morrisville pick up RT15W through Johnson for 7 miles. Our tourist sign will be on the right, take the next left turn onto Junction Hill Rd. We are 1 mile up on the left.
- From Boston
take I-93N 65 miles to Bow, N.H. Take I-89N 120 miles to Exit 10 in Waterbury, Vermont. Take a right off the exit and follow VT Rt. 100N 10 miles to Stowe village, then follow either the Winter or Summer directions from above.
- From Hartford, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and points south
Take I-95 to I-91 North in Hartford. Take I-91 through Massachusetts into Vermont. At White River Junction, take I-89N 61 miles to Exit 10 in Waterbury. Take a right off the exit and follow Rt. 100N 10 miles to Stowe village then follow either the Winter or Summer directions from above.
- From Albany
Take I-87 north to Exit 20 at Glens Falls. Take 149 to Fort Ann, Rt. 4 north to Fair Haven, Rt. 22A north to Vergennes, Rt. 7 North to South Burlington, I-189 to I-89, then I-89N to exit 15 which is RT 15E to Jeffersonville. Stay on RT 15E for about 28 miles, you will see our tourist sign just before Corse Fuel Co., take the next right onto Junction Hill Rd. We are 1 mile up on the left.
- From Montreal
Take Champlain Bridge to Highway 10E continue 9 miles. Take exit 22 for Highway 35S (Highway 35S merges with Highway 133S in Iberville.) Follow this route to the Vermont border, there it turns to I 89. Follow I 89S to St. Albans, take exit 19 (second exit for St. Albans) onto RT 104 (SE). Follow 104S through Fairfax to Cambridge where you will pick up RT 15E to Jeffersonville you will see our tourist sign just before Corse Fuel Co., take the next right onto Junction Hill Rd. We are 1 mile up on the left.
- From Toronto
Take Trans Canada Highway 401 east to Cornwall Head south from Cornwall, cross the St. Lawrence River and the U.S. border and pickup Rt. 37 south to Malone. Take Rt. 11 North to Rouses Point. Cross the bridge over Lake Champlain and pickup Rt. 78 in Alburg. Continue along 78 to Swanton and then take I-89 south to St. Albans, exit 19 (second exit for St. Albans), onto RT 104 (SE). Follow 104S through Fairfax to Cambridge where you will pick up RT 15E to Jeffersonville you will see our tourist sign just before Corse Fuel Co., take the next right onto Junction Hill Rd. We are 1 mile up on the left.
How far is the airport from Jeffersonville?
Burlington International Airport is an easy 45 minute drive.
No, it is not necessary, but winter tires would be best. All roads are maintained quite well. Of course, four wheel drive is helpful especially on snowy days.

A Spring New England tradition, there are several sugar houses to visit in Jeffersonville. Maple sugaring season in New England is March and April. Seeing the smoke from the sugar houses and smelling the sweet aroma of the sap will surely draw you in for a warm sampling. St. Albans, Vt. Hosts a maple sugar festival at the end of April.
