Make Winter 2018 Memorable

Make winter 2018 memories with a snowman

Make winter 2018 memorable by saying goodbye to 2017 and try different activities to help your vacation be one that you will remember for a lifetime.

Make winter 2018 memorable with a snowmanSterling Ridge Log Cabin Resort has some suggestions that we think will help make winter 2018 memorable, relaxing and fun!

Relax in front of a fire in your very own cabin at Sterling Ridge Resort. Make winter 2018 memorable by curling up in front of a glowing wood-stove. Let the crackle of the logs lull you to a peaceful state of mind. While in this relaxed state, why not read that book that you didn’t have time to get to in 2017. Did forget to bring a book with you? Not to worry, Sterling Ridge has a HUGE selection of books in the “common room” (located next to the Mansfield House) to choose from.

Want to make winter 2018 memorable with some outdoor activities? Start by taking back your inner child by making snow angels! Remember when you were a young child and snow days meant playing in the crisp air and fresh fallen snow? What about making a snowman? Sterling Ridge can supply you with a bag full of “coal”, a carrot and a scarf for finishing touches on your snowman or snowwoman! Be sure to snap a photo of Frosty for the Sterling Ridge Facebook or Instagram pages #sterlingridgesnowman!

Start on your New Year’s Resolution of getting more exercise. Make winter 2018 memorable by getting back to nature on Sterling Ridge Resort’s trails by exploring with your own snowshoes or a borrowed pair from the resort. You can walk maple sap lines and cross small fresh water streams whiling taking in the beauty of a Vermont winter forest.

No matter how you choose to make winter 2018 memorable, Sterling Ridge Log Cabin Resort is your destination. Our cabins with wood-stoves and nature right out your front door are where you can start!

Max certainly touched all of our hearts when we were there in May 2017. He made a special connection with our 2.yr old granddaughter.
He was so gentle and sweet he would sit with her on the porch, follow her around the cabin and yard, lay beside her while she roasted marshmallows…
When we left Max came to say goodbye to all of us!!!! My granddaughter said put him in the car lol !!! She did not want to leave her new friend….
Our hearts our heavy with your lost of your beloved Max may all the memories help you through
    Our sincere condolences

We stayed there twice and each time Max made our stay special. He would follow us everywhere and then come & sleep on the porch. Will miss you Max.

All I can say about Max is that he was the best! We loved pulling onto your property and seeing Max (it was like he knew we were coming and wanted to greet us first). He was a special dog and a big part of your family we know you will cherish the times you had with him. R.I.P Max you will be missed
