Amazing Wedding Weekend

Our son was married at Sterling Ridge in August, which is the perfect setting for a wedding!! The reception was held on the lawn of the Mansfield House with its picturesque view of Mount Mansfield. The property and grounds were beautifully kept with the gardens bursting with flowers. The ceremony was held overlooking the pond…

Cozy Cabins, Nature, Dog Loved it Too!

This was our first time visiting Sterling Ridge Log Cabin Resort. We found it online while looking for “log cabins in Vermont”. The resort looked very well run, clean and that attention to detail was taken – just from the website! The cabin exceeded our expectations. It is so cozy, everything was thought of. What…

"See You Again Soon"

Searched Google and decided on Sterling Ridge because of the privacy, jacuzzi, fireplace and beautiful area. Check in was easy, gal at desk was amazing and informative. The cabin exceeded our expectations. 🙂 We will be back in the summer! Reviewed by guests visiting from RI, stayed March 2018 on In Cabin Comment Card.

"Great Place!"

We had a lovely, inviting cabin with all the amenities we needed for our family of 5. My 6 year old son walked into the cabin and said, "Wow! Awesome!" Our cabin overlooked the pond and provided a lovely setting. It's close to Smugglers Notch, so we got a daycation pass for activities there for one day of our stay. Definitely better than a hotel room and cheaper to boot. Very pleased! Reviewed by "alysajunk", on TripAdvisor, stayed March 2018

We stayed in a cabin and it was beautiful! Clean, quiet and secluded. We had a Jacuzzi and it was so relaxing. The full kitchen was perfect. I made chili and baked brownies. The property was perfect for a brisk winter walk. We forgot something and the General Store was just a 5 minute drive. The front desk was so pleasant and made you feel welcomed. We had our own fireplace and they provided enough wood for a whole day and if you run out the have some at the office at a great price. I can't wait to return in the spring and next time we are planning to bring a group and stay a little longer. Thank you so much for the great getaway. Reviewed by Dora C , March 2018 on TripAdvisor

Loved the location, easy to get to Smuggler's Notch for skiing. Cozy, comfortable cabin with a wonderful warm wood burning stove. Plenty of space, cooked both nights in the kitchen with no problems. We were two adults and two older teenagers and we were very comfortable for a ski weekend. Reception staff was excellent and very helpful. Reviewed by Sally on, stayed March 2018.

"Log Cabin Getaway"

Perched in the mountains of Vermont near Smuggler's Notch, this resort offers log cabins of different sizes and amenities. Our 1 bedroom cabin had a wood stove, jacuzzi tub and was clean and beautiful. The living area had a TV, couch, easy chair, and a well stocked kitchenette. The staff has a hands off attitude, which seems appropriate in this rural atmosphere. There is a common area game room and a pool for the warmer months. There are several decent restaurants in the area as well as a local winery that produces pretty good wine and has a very reasonably priced wine tasting. This was a great place to escape city life.
