Perennial Favorite – Bring The Dog

Max and Moku meet

After a few visits to Sterling Ridge over the years, I must say the experience has gone from great to amazing. This time I stayed in Cabin 11 (2 BR) with my partner and another couple. We were able to check in right on time and bring the dog, which is a great option to have. Sterling Ridge provides a dog amenity kit with treats, a towel for the dog, and some sheets to help protect the furniture – this is a nice extra for sure. It is worth noting that the whole area is very dog friendly.

The two bedroom cabin was fully equipped with a full kitchen and the two bedrooms were configured with king beds for couples. The bed was firm but comfy. There is a game room near the main office with an ample supply of puzzles and games, easily along the small flat screen TV and DVD to remain in the off position the whole weekend. That said, they apparently have a decent collection of movies to borrow as well. Thanks to a nearby general store, we were able to purchase groceries and cook dinner right in the cabin one evening. In many ways, staying at Sterling Ridge feels like one has a vacation property of their own in the Notch without all of the headaches (and costs) involved. Until I am able to purchase my own place up there, I will be back each and every year. Well done!
